Rebuilding Together Project
Come be a part of Rebuilding Days!
What is Rebuilding Days? Rebuilding Days is an opportunity for community members to come together to help low-income, elderly, or disabled homeowners rehabilitate their homes, brought to you by the Keep Thornton Beautiful/City of Thornton and Rebuilding Together Metro Denver.
When is Rebuilding Days? On October 2, 2010, teams of 20-25 volunteers will work for one full day to repair and revitalize a qualified home, all at no cost to the homeowner. The shared experience of dramatically improving the safety and the quality of life makes Rebuilding Together Days a memorable volunteer experience and an effective community building activity.
Volunteer to help your neighbors! *No experience necessary * Eight hours of your time * Skilled laborers to oversee activities * Must be 18 years or older

Anythink Library trail clean up
Come help Keep Thornton Beautiful and Anythink Library clean up Niver Creek Trail. Participants will meet at the Anythink Huron Street Library, located at 9417 Huron Street, at 9 am to help with litter collection. Bags and gloves will be provided.
Refreshments will be provided at the library after the clean up event.

2010 Grass and Leaf Recycle Drop-Off
A community recycling drop-off
center for grass and leaves
April 23 – October 4 (growing season)
October 22 – November 29 (fall leaves)
Weekends only: Friday afternoon 5 p.m., through Monday morning 8 a.m.
Thornton’s Infrastructure Maintenance Center, 12450 Washington Street
Bring your grass clippings and leaves to the IMC to be recycled. Self service roll-
off containers can be found adjacent to the IMC RV Disposal service road.
